Kids' Reviews

"You know how you wrote the story Elffolk and the Crystal Caves of Atlantis? I was wondering if you were going to make that into a movie…. I was wondering if I could be Enna if you make a movie. Because my favourite book is Elffolk and the Crystal Caves of Atlantis and I dressed up as Enna at school…. What I learned from reading Elffolk was "if you believe, you will succeed.""

Lindsay Mierau, 8

"Hi, I'm Brooke and I’m 7 years old. My uncle gave me your book for my birthday and I read it all in one day. I liked Mica and your book is awesome. Can you write another one?"

Brooke Wheeldon, 7

"For me, it is really hard to find a book I like, but I really liked this one. My favorite part was when Enna and Nissa found out that they were creating their experiences. I would recommend this to others because I was interested the whole time and never bored."

Erin Kelm, 11

"Lachlan finished your book in two days! He just couldn't put it down, he loved it so much. For an avid gamer, this is really saying something!"

Ana M. Cummings, parent

"I am enjoying the book lots - very suspenseful at times! Love it love it love it."

Sophie Gordon, 10

"My eldest daughter finished Elffolk in a couple of days, she raved about it and LOVED it... She is paying it forward to a girl in her class! Thank you!"

Lee Horbachewski, parent

"I've played a computer game called Wizard 101 and it formed a very similar town in my head. I think the author is trying to stretch kids’ imaginations so they don’t spoil their brains in front of a TV. My favourite character is Mica. I like Mica because he’s funny and doesn’t worry about anything (except for his poor stomach). I feel hope for all the characters because they were all risking their lives for another person, which is extremely nice. I think that the characters bonded in a relationship and need for each other."

9-year-old boy
